How We Work Together

I care a great deal about how we work together as a city.

I believe Pacific Grove is at its best when we have a positive, collaborative culture where people genuinely listen to one another, even when they disagree.

A few years ago, I helped create a national civic initiative that helped communities have better conversations when people do not see eye to eye.

Some of what we learned could be genuinely useful in Pacific Grove. Good local government depends on making room for different perspectives.

For me, that means approaching city issues with curiosity and an open mind while staying focused on finding practical, workable solutions.
