Monterey County Weekly Endorsement

I'm delighted to receive the Monterey County Weekly's endorsement for Pacific Grove City Council, District 3. What a lovely way to start the day!

Tara Leweling was endorsed for Pacific Grove City Council District 3 by the Monterey County Weekly on October 8, 2026.

The editorial board highlighted that I'm trying to bring fresh ideas to our city, especially when it comes to the budget.

I also appreciated the Weekly's emphasis on thoughtful, cooperative leadership, which is central to my "lead, listen, lift" philosophy.

I believe that for city government to work well, listening to each other as neighbors is vitally important.

And, while I appreciate this recognition from the Weekly, the best part of running has been meeting YOU and hearing YOUR ideas for Pacific Grove's future.

It would be an honor to serve you and the city we love.
